STATEMENT OF HOMEOWNER:
I hired Miguel Fernandez’s company, ADD-ON, at the recommendation of an architect/engineer. From the moment Mr. Fernandez contracted for the project he demonstrated a professional, experienced, knowledgeable attitude to the work of the remodel. He worked with my architect/engineer, communicating concerns as they became apparent; easily resolving them so that the project moved forward toward deadline.
Mr. Fernandez also worked with my designing team, being present and active with the interior decorators and addressing their requests and concerns from an early stage of planning. He welcomed their suggestions, was interested in their design elements, and easily integrated their plans into the overall project.
I have found his construction crew to be hard working, task specific, and professional. I was pleased with the sub-contractors that were hired; they too had the same high standard of professionalism.
I have found Mr. Fernandez to be a contractor who can remain on task and focused with the day to day issues of construction, but also remain goal oriented in completing the overall project on time and on budget.
In a profession, that seems to have a delayed deadline as the standard—Mr. Fernandez brought this project to completion ahead of schedule by a month, without sacrificing quality of work. I was pleased to see that Mr. Fernandez and his crew gave a great amount of consideration and attention to the “unseen” details of construction and foundation as they did to the obvious surface details.
I am extremely happy with the final outcome of the remodel. We have a home that is now the crown jewel of the neighborhood. Our 1948 ranch-style home, that was dated, too-small, and poorly constructed, is now a home in which we live with great pride. Neighbors have commented on the home’s beauty. Inspectors from the city commented on the high quality of the construction. Vendors mentioned that I was lucky to be working with such an exceptional contractor and construction crew.
I will admit that I had great anxiety about beginning the remodel. But I found Mr. Fernandez easy to communicate with, his crew professional and experienced with a great amount of pride in their work. I found Mr. Fernandez to be highly skilled, knowledgeable, honest and professional. He brought with him, an impressive background in construction, which gave me a great amount of confidence in the work that was being performed.
I would give Mr. Fernandez’s construction company the highest possible referral rating; I would use the words EXCEPTIONAL & SUPERIOR as an overall assessment of ADD ON’s skill, expertise and job completion.
